Good leave policy.

They have unrealistic expectations of the workload that you are expected to handle which is very heavy and stressful (you're not even paid close to the amount you deserve for the work you do and the management denies that you handle that much of work.) Operations managers force Team Mangers to get associates to perform and meet unrealistic goals for all of the metrics. Internal agents abuse you and are rude and the management is not only in denial, but allows it and always points out what you did wrong (you are treated as mat for them to wipe their feet on). You have a platform which is supposed to 'anonymous' to voice your call concerns, but associates get targeted when they do. To grow in the company is impossible, you get stuck in the same role for a few years. They also force you to work on week off, site off, and optional off (also known as holiday off's) by constantly harassing you and spamming your inbox with messages asking you to work, then the management knows who you are and sees you, otherwise you are as good as dead to them. Most of the management does not want to help you out when you have a problem, that's for you to figure out unless they get pulled up for something then they care. Except for health insurance, you get no other incentives other than the bribes they throw at you to work on the days they have sales. There's also continuous changes every 2 - 3 months to the tools used to help customers and their policies which is hard to keep up with. They also keep adding more skills that you should handle for your already overloaded workload as and when they please (some people handle every device and skill they have), and they don't give you adquate training, just a module and then you should know what to do on a live contact. They also deny your leaves citing 'shrinkage' as when they please even if a family member has died or you're sick you're still expected to work. They tell you to go to the funeral and come back to work. Grieving? What's that?!?...Read More

Literally nothing to like about this role. This role doesn't make any sense.you will not even get reasons for what and why are you doing your job. Unnecessarily Extremely high pressure environment.0% job security.worst work culture. They don't give leave.I was COVID positive and was having 103 F fever. They didn't give me leave untill I gave them my reports. They manipulate you by saying shrinkage target.Even if someone is dead in your family. They will give this shrinkage nonsense.Growth in this process is like mission impossible. They lure you by their sweet talk in initial days but after some time they show their true colours. This process is very much infamous in Amazon itself.Other processes don't even consider this process. If you think that you will take internal transfer after sometime, then it is not possible. No one even call you back.I literally wasted my whole year over here.Guys please do not apply for this role. Its a trap.you will think that it's ok it's amazon, but you are just gonna waste your time and energy over here and if you join her just say goodbye to you mental health....Read More

Not one thing is good about this role.I hope to God everyday that this process gets shutdown.I just hate this process.Glad i left this process.Only thing I learned over here is that "all that glitters is not gold".It's amazon something must be good..not at all necessary.plus you don't have any public holidays.not one.you only have weekoffs.you don't off on 15 August or 26th January. No offs.

1. Job security - 0% The higher management changes the metrics on which performance of the associates are judged whimsically and they do not even provide a week's time to the associates to cope up with the change. They use that as an opportunity to make the associates lose their job so that they can hire new ones with much lower pay scale. 2. Work Culture- 10% Favouritism is a common phenomenon in this organisation. The managers only cooperates with associates whom they favour. 3. Management- Worst The higher management arranges meetings once a month only to convince the associates that they aren't humans and they should work like a machine. They do not even heed to the problems faced by the associates and ignores any kind of requests made by the latter. 4. Company Policies- **sigh** What to say? Firstly, the management will change the metrics to some level which cannot be achieved by the associates. Secondly, when the associates can't achieve that, they will put him/her into some CDP plan and no matter how much the associates put their effort in and no matter how well they perform, the management will keep on showing excuses not to pull them out of this plan. Finally, when the associates gets frustrated, they will pull him/her out of the organisation stating "THEY CANNOT APPLY TO ANY OTHER PROCESS IN AMAZON EVER". If an associate is a bad performer in one process he/she might be good at another. But this simple thing is never acknowledged by Amazon and they do not ever give the associates a chance to explore their skillset. ...Read More

Brand itself, culture, no outside working of office hours, pay structure, L4 roles

Dislikes

For the role: product Compliance Sr Associate- it is a monotonous job : if you are in L3 specially in this role, it is next to impossible that you can move to L4 even though you qualify all the requirements. You do not get to learn any new skillset except maintaining TPH for your scorecard. Out of all Manual Classification process is the worst to work in - there are no set projects, you will be kept rotating in the name of business requirement. Most of the manager's are from BPO for this particular process, so be careful while opting this profile. For experienced folks there wont be any significant change in appraisals, you will be left diassapointed. For people in need of brand can select this but the profile stays very specific where you wont find outside anywhere in the market directly impacting the cv/workex you carry. Rest profiles and the L4 roles are always the best to work for in Amazon. Please check for the process before making your feet wet. ...Read More

If you are looking to gain knowledge and do a meaningful job THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR YOU. From my and my colleagues' experience, working here just gives you corporate experience and other temporary benefits. Reason: - This is more of a data entry kind of job which has ZERO SCOPES all over the world. - There is literally nothing youlearn here that are used outside of this role except email writing, report making (subjective). - You won't even be using MS office or any other S/W that are used in other corporates. - There is no actual ownership in this role. You'll be asked to gather different sets of information from other employees of your team and it's called "OWNERSHIP" here. - The organisation is extremely unstable and you'll be constantly questioned and blamed for others mistakes. Their mechanism to measure the performance has so many imbalances but, as usual, leadership and managers constantly pushes us to achieve the org's goal irrespective of the gaps in the mechanism. (You will be questioned even though the mistakes aren't from your end.) - Simply put, the effort you're asked to put in isn't worth it. ONLY APPLY IF YOU'RE LOOKING FOR A TEMPORARY JOB WITH NOT MUCH OF JOB SECURITY. YOU CAN EASILY GET THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE DECENT KNOWLEDGE OF ENGLISH....Read More

The best "Non-Toxic" environment I've ever seen. I'm working as an SPS Associate for Vendor Support on Amazon Payroll since 1 year. I love almost everything - Job security - Permanent WFH - Internet reimbursement - Laptop provided by the company - Lots of leaves 50+ (mandatory, optional, casual, sick, annual) - Easily manageable metrics - Best work life balance. No-one will bother you after shift ends. - Lots of goodies (quarterly, annual, peak, diwali) - Ontime salary (usually 1-2 days before month ends) - Sodexo meal coupons ₹1100 per month - and a lot of things...Read More

It is waste of time to even discuss about it. No growth, no job satisfaction....ticketing team can't resolve the tickets, cx problems which have no reasonable solution and metrics without any logic...even if cx's problems are resolved and in cases where cx contacts Amazon through an email thanking and appreciating the support, the metrics would drop drastically compared to when cx gives a no..and the Ops and Grpms expect any call to be resolved in 7 mins even though if the cx at the other end is an old man/women who don't even know what a router is.....and they don't want cx to be rushed through the call to achieve 7 mins goal. To manage this goal, you need to pull emails parallelly and keep resolving them quickly while the call would be going on.....greater multitasking....also, to be in top place for the week or month, the Ops or Grpms would not expect agents to transfer calls even if they are not from that skill, and even if the relevant team is available..unhealthy work culture.....what you talk and listen outside is different from you see inside the organization......worst site leaders and management with unhealthy competition.....no surprise if 24 Grpms left the organization last year....and every day it's normal to see 3 emails atleast from agents that it's their last working day..great internal politics ...internal Jon promotions which would never happen ...Read More

Great work environment. If you're fun loving person then you're gonna love Amazon's work place culture. Seniors are supportive and management is 90% unbiased (well exceptions are everywhere). Leave policies are good and usually automated especially sick ones so no longer try to convince Manager, however shrinkage is the factor and one must keep that mind. Some managers are so supportive that they are ready to take hit on their metrics to get your work done which is unbelievably awesome. There are lots of IJPs rolled out for in-house promotion, depends on department to department and business requirements. Not much in the name of bonuses, but you get salary hike the way you perform whole year. Everything counts. Strict no extra hours works, if there is requirment you'll be paid double AND it's optional. Do your 9 hours shift (1 hr lunch included) and no one can ask you to work another single minute which is amazing to maintain your work life balance. ...Read More

Compensation plans need to be worked out, obviously labour is cheap in India but we gotta eat and run a house too. Amazon HR team is too slow and way more busy (like every HR) no exception here l so it takes ages to get your work done or get an information from them. For contractual roles : They need to stop throwing every trainedfolks back in market after their contracts ends. Amazon is nice to place to work and start you're career. But comming to customer service jobs all companies are same. Customer is the king and we should obey them in any situation. No career growth daily we should pamper them get scolded by them. One big advantage is amazon providing work from home in ths covid time. So for people who are empty in homes would like to try some job they can join csa in Amazon. As for me compensation is ok comparing to other companies. No free time will be available in shift times as every minute is counted and there are metrics to be maintained so it is not possible to get free time in shift timings. Regarding leaves also there will be no holidays for festivals or so, you will be given 5 optional holidays for year and you should use them for festivals accordingly. Night shifts and rotational shifts are common. In holiday season there will be peak and in peak the chats or call volume will be very high, we will not get a second time to breathe. Comming to good things, nice place to work, you will get gift cards and other gifts occasionally. Salary and you will get internet allowance and meal card copoun every month....Read More

Amazon's level 2 role has a contract period of 6 months and the conversion to full time employee is based on the performance of the candidate. If a person performs well and meets his targets with accuracy, amazon surely considers that person. I really like the work culture of amazon because amazon not only focuses on the work, rather it even indulges into various aspects such as health, fun activities etc. Company has very nice leave policy. It has 16 annual leaves, 12 casual leaves, 12 optional leaves, 12 sick leaves per annum. If a person wants to work overtime or night shifts, overtime amount is also paid. Overall I would suggest you to choose amazon as your career because it contributes to your professional growth....Read More
